How – Procedure

What If – What if something goes wrong?
You have a WTF… (Whoops Tweak Fast ) procedure to put into gear, act on, to save the patient’s life.
So you’re probably asking why on earth am I talking abut this and how do we relate this to business and design?

Too many things are screaming for our attention these days. –
- working in the business,
- content creation,
- website maintenance,
- social media,
- email marketing,
- creating offers and the list goes on.
and we only have so much time each day to get them done.

So ….I’d love to share my SRG System with you.
Whatever you do if you can use this 3 step Sony Theory you can simplify so many things and get moving so much quicker with your workload.
It has to be….Simple, Rinse-able, Growductive (productive and growth combined) Oh.. and for a sprinkle of glitter I’m adding fun!

If it’s not Rinse-able, (repeatable) you’ll burn out.
And if it’s not Growductive… well, then it’s just an expensive hobby! (I can totally relate to the last one…yikes!)
So you are probably wondering if I’m just talking the talk or walking the walk girrrrlll?
Good Point!
I’ve had to knuckle down and re-visit my own theory many times over and over again.
But have realised that the – simple, rinse, repeat grow procedure has saved me and my tushie many times.
Even when I go way off track, I try to remember to implement the WTF “Whoops Tweak Fast Theory” .
So I’ve been doing a few things that have really changed the way I work.

- Timers are great for getting things done quickly. You want to beat the timer before it goes off.
- Tackling big jobs like updating my website feels way easier when I break them into 30-minute bursts each day. (5 x 30 minutes = 2.5 hours of website updating per week my friend. I plan what I’m doing before I even at my desk then once the clock starts, it’s go time! I smash it out just like making guacamole.
- Commit to a regular posting, emailing and designing day.

- OPEN CONTENT – My fave. I reopen the last email I sent, create a copy and start compiling next weeks news.
- Re-purposing isn’t anything new but gives your content a much longer shelf life. Finding new content is so time consuming and often your clients and followers may have missed the original post/email anyway.
- Before I write anything I jot down a few points on paper to give the idea structure. Mega time hack and clarity maker.
Epiphany
I realised there was no use me spending 2 hours looking for images when I end up using the ones I have anyway.
Going over and over a design and trying to make it more perfect isn’t helpful for me. Time is precious and I need to be mindful of how much is spent on every job in my biz.
Indecision is the worst thing ever. Something I’m trying to get over after all these years. I just have to pick a theme, design, subject and stick to it.
Content Hack
I’ve been creating a new template pack. It’s the Dusky Magnolia Biz Starter Bundle.
It’s 10 templates all in a charcoal, white and magnolia theme designed to help people with the basic templates needed for most business.
You know like price lists, review signs, gift certificates, biz and reward cards, appointment cards and of course social media templates.
To streamline the process I was shown a simple method to make creation quicker.

- Open up a blank page or template in Canva.
- Add your colour palette, fonts, images ready on file.
- Select a template and add the words/text first.
- Do your jooshing. (keep it simple)
- Save the template and use on your next project.
And voila! I created it with clarity, in a speed(ier) fashion and calm.
Plus images, video tutorial, PDF download file and I bet you can guess that I was super amazed.
Business doesn’t have to feel like juggling act in the circus.
The magic recipe?
Keep it simple, make it something you can rinse and repeat.
Simple. Repeatable. Product-able turns into Profitable.
That’s an awesome trio and that’s how to be super productive in your business.
